Coursework

All participants have coursework to complete!

New Staff Training is a hybrid course, which means there is an online component in addition to the in-person intensive. The online component of the course will run from December 1 - March 1 and includes pre and post work. Assignment details and due dates can be located within the Learning Online course beginning on December 1.

Click the button below to access the Learning Online course, then click on "Login with Staff Resources Credentials" to login. If you do not have Staff Resources Credentials yet, please contact your regional admin. If you experience any issues logging in, please contact the Digital Learning Team.

You'll need to self-enroll in the course using the enrollment key; the key will be sent via email by the end of October. Please do not share this key. Staff must register to receive the key; otherwise, their course enrollment may be invalid.

Academic Credit

Did you know that your Young Life training can count towards the completion of a master's or bachelor's degree? Young Life maintains a partnership with several Bible/theological institutions, all of which will transcript many of your Young Life courses for a fraction of the cost.

Check out the Academic Credit page on Staff Resources to learn more about our seminary partners and other important information related to the process of transcribing your coursework with a seminary partner. Talk to your supervisor about whether or not taking the course for academic credit is right for you and, if so, decide how the transcribing fee will be paid. Each transcribed Young Life course incurs a charge of $750, with the exception of Eastern University which incurs a charge of $75. Your area can budget for this, or you can cover this cost personally.

If you plan to transcribe your New Staff Training course for academic credit, you will be asked to declare this designation during your registration process. Now is a great time to review Young Life's Seminary School partnerships to find the right school/degree program for you. Be prepared to make this decision before attending New Staff Training.

Do not hesitate to reach out to contact us with any questions that may serve you.

There will be two additional books, Generations and Hurt 2.0 that will be available within the course.
